Description

Experience the Spring Festival 2026 and enjoy a day filled with fascinating insights into the world of the Lipizzaner.

A day that brings the full magic of the stud farm to life.

Immerse yourself in the breeding and upbringing of Lipizzaner foals and discover how these young horses grow up at the Piber Stud. Explore the secrets behind the training of the broodmares and experience how responsible training and trust between horse and human are carefully cultivated.

Our interactive experience pop-ups across the stud grounds will answer all your questions: Why is there a dedicated open-stable system? Which stallions of the Spanish Riding School are stationed at Piber for the breeding season? Which Lipizzaners are currently available for purchase? Which imperial dignitaries once traveled in the magnificent carriages displayed in our carriage museum? And what makes the interior of Baroque Schloss Piber so impressive?

And this is just the beginning: On this special day, Baroque Schloss Piber opens its doors for exclusive guided tours led by professional guides. Culinary delights also await you on the stud grounds, with regional specialties served at Café Restaurant Piber as well as refined tastings from selected exhibitors. Younger visitors can look forward to a varied children’s program combining adventure, puzzles, and playful learning.
