Description

Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of the Lipizzaners and experience first-hand what makes our historic stud so unique. Our guided stud tour invites you to discover the renowned white horses throughout every stage of their lives – from playful foals alongside their broodmares, to mares in training, and the retired stars of the Spanish Riding School.

Highlights of the Tour

  • Mares with their foals: witness the first steps of the youngest Lipizzaners and the close bond they share with their mothers.
  • Stars of the Spanish Riding School: meet the retired champions and the School stallions who return to their home stud during the breeding season.
  • Interactive museum: explore the history and traditions of the Lipizzaners through modern, interactive exhibits.
  • Lipizzaners in the Paddocks: watch these magnificent horses move freely in their outdoor enclosures.
  • Historic Carriages: discover splendid carriages dating back to the Habsburg era.

Our cultural mediators guide you through the tour, sharing in-depth insights into breeding, rearing, and the centuries-old history of the Lipizzaners. Engaging anecdotes and stories from the daily lives of these exceptional horses complete the experience.

A memorable visit for families, couples, adults, and children alike – an experience to be enjoyed by all.
