Alfred Hudler has assumed the role of general director of the Spanish Riding School Vienna – Lipizzan Stud Piber on December 1st, 2022. The Austrian manager can reflect on many years of experience in corporate management, leadership as well as the development of international premium brands. He served as board director of Vöslauer and most recently in its holding company, Ottakringer Beverages AG, being the board’s chairman until 2022.
The former professional top athlete prioritizes teamwork, mutual appreciation and a constructive collaboration at eye level. Hudler values a cooperative partnership and shared vision between all colleagues. Through this handshake quality approach everyone is encouraged to co-create a bright future, whose promise and aspiration must be to attract people from all over the world and deepen the fascination to experience the Spanish Riding School and the Lipizzan Stud Piber.
Safeguarding the quality of Classical Horsemanship and ensuring the horses’ wellbeing are priorities for Hudler. This also includes to successfully continue the proficiency of Lipizzan breeding – a tradition which has been introduced into the representative UNESCO list of Intangible Cultural Heritage on November 30th, 2022.
